Peter Bambrough began his engineering career in 1968. After completing his apprenticeship,
he quickly advanced to shop floor supervision and management. He became a Group Production Manager, overseeing operations across five sites in the South West.
His experience also includes civil engineering, where he successfully completed projects throughout the UK, from the Isles of Scilly to Port William. Peter’s enthusiasm for engineering remains unwavering, and he looks forward
to the exciting opportunities ahead with NSN Engineering Services.

Martin is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience on the shop floor as a precision machinist before evolving into an innovative designer. Utilizing his CAD skills, he has successfully assisted numerous clients in reengineering existing products and creating designs from initial concepts. His expertise extends to civil engineering, where he has designed projects for Water and Waste Treatment Plants, with his work prominently showcased throughout the UK. For many years, Martin has managed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance in daily manufacturing operations and overseeing both in-house and external audits. At NSN Engineering Services Ltd, we are leveraging his knowledge and experience as we strive for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Alan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in precision machining, allowing him to tackle any project with confidence. No task is too daunting or complex for him. He excels in developing innovative machine programming methods and adapting tools to deliver parts on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A natural teacher, Alan eagerly anticipates the launch of our apprenticeship program, where he can share his knowledge and mentor the next generation of engineers.

John is a natural engineer who thrives on disassembling and understanding how things work, only to reassemble them in full working order. With many years of experience in welding a variety of metals and alloys, his skills have earned him recognition from clients across multiple sectors, including Rail and Defence. Methodical and meticulous in his approach, John is the ideal candidate to oversee the assembly and testing of our Lifebuoy Release units, currently in use with the UK Naval Fleets.

NSN Engineering Services Ltd are pleased to welcome “Charlie” as our first apprentice as of the 5th January 2026.

Charlie brings “youth” to the company as well as the skills he obtained whilst attending Wiltshire College & University Centre where he successfully completed a T level Engineering -MIR course.

Having collaborated with us for the last few months we have all been impressed by both his work ethic and his enthusiasm which prompted the offering of an apprenticeship.

The company has engaged with Wiltshire College & University Centre for Charlie to enrol on their Precision Machining Apprenticeship Training Program, which will expand upon his in-house training.

Working with his in-house mentors he has already commenced training in MIG Welding which shows promise and can only improve with time and practice.

This is our first step on “succession” planning, and we look forward to sharing the future with Charlie.
