Our directors are all time-served engineers with over 160 years of combined experience. They continue to work on the shop floor to maintain their skill sets, which include:

The company was formed in late April 2024 with the intention of building upon the legacy of Jetway Associates Ltd, where we were instrumental in gaining a worldwide reputation for producing quality engineered products and exceptional customer service. Many of Jetway's historical customers have approached us and supported our formation of NSN Engineering Services Ltd.

We’re proud to have achieved ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation—meeting globally recognized standards for quality management.

This milestone reflects the systems we’ve put in place to ensure consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations. Reaching this target, set for 2024, marks a key step forward—and we look forward to partnering with you.

NSN Sales & Management Director

Peter Bambrough

Peter Bambrough began his engineering career in 1968. After completing his apprenticeship,
he quickly advanced to shop floor supervision and management. He became a Group Production Manager, overseeing operations across five sites in the South West.
His experience also includes civil engineering, where he successfully completed projects throughout the UK, from the Isles of Scilly to Port William. Peter’s enthusiasm for engineering remains unwavering, and he looks forward
to the exciting opportunities ahead with NSN Engineering Services.

Quality & Design Director

Martin Bowler

Martin is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience on the shop floor as a precision machinist before evolving into an innovative designer. Utilizing his CAD skills, he has successfully assisted numerous clients in reengineering existing products and creating designs from initial concepts. His expertise extends to civil engineering, where he has designed projects for Water and Waste Treatment Plants, with his work prominently showcased throughout the UK. For many years, Martin has managed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance in daily manufacturing operations and overseeing both in-house and external audits. At NSN Engineering Services Ltd, we are leveraging his knowledge and experience as we strive for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Production Director

Alan Cunningham

Alan is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in precision machining, allowing him to tackle any project with confidence. No task is too daunting or complex for him. He excels in developing innovative machine programming methods and adapting tools to deliver parts on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A natural teacher, Alan eagerly anticipates the launch of our apprenticeship program, where he can share his knowledge and mentor the next generation of engineers.

Technical Director

John Farrell

John is a natural engineer who thrives on disassembling and understanding how things work, only to reassemble them in full working order. With many years of experience in welding a variety of metals and alloys, his skills have earned him recognition from clients across multiple sectors, including Rail and Defence. Methodical and meticulous in his approach, John is the ideal candidate to oversee the assembly and testing of our Lifebuoy Release units, currently in use with the UK Naval Fleets.

Community Projects

Standing Sentry: A Tribute to the Armed Forces

NSN Engineering Services Ltd were proud to engage with the Colerne Branch of the Royal British Legion, and their project to enhance the village War Memorial.

The brief was to produce figurines depicting the Army, Navy, Air Force and Home Guard to stand “sentry duty” on each corner of the memorial plinth, to honour fallen comrades.

The “sentries” had to be “robust” to safely withstand all weather conditions, safely secured, but free standing, so not to damage the existing listed memorial.

Responses received from the local community confirm that both the Royal British Legion team and NSN Engineering Services Ltd successfully fulfilled the brief.

Backing the “6 in 6” Challenge

NSN Engineering Services Ltd congratulate Alan Crowdy and Mark Miller, both distinguished ex- servicemen, on their epic undertaking to run SIX half marathons in six days : the "6 in 6" Challenge between Monday 5th May (Bank Holiday) and Saturday 10th May 2025.

We are proud to have contributed to their fundraising efforts on behalf of the Royal British Legion and Morrello Marvels, whose aim is to support people living with a neurological condition to live a healthy, active life.
